South Valley Tour Cusco – Itinerary

Actually this is one of the most interesting tours because we go to: Tipon, Pikillacta & Andahuaylillas the most famous church in South America

Came and Experience the “Southern Valley” of Cusco with the best guided tour of Tipon, Piquillacta and Andahuaylillas.

At Tipon, you will discover a remarkable and extensive Inca place famous for beautiful gardens irrigated with fresh, cool water that runs through an intricate system of fountains made by the Incas.

Piquillacta, “the City of Fleas,” is an impressive and ancient pre Inca group of People known as the Wari culture, this pre Inca ruins were built in the first century. Here you’ll explore this administrative capital of the southern portion of the Wari civilization which dates back to pre-Inca times.

Finally you have the chance to visit the small village of Andahuaylillas, home to a dazzling 17th-century church, known as the “Andean Sistine Chapel.” Built upon the site of an old Inca temple or Huaqa, the church’s altar is gilded in 24-carat gold leaf and adorned with both Christian and Local symbols, known as the Quechua or Andean ornaments.

We do not include the lunch in this tour. Meal options can be limited in this area of Cusco, so we recommend getting some snacks or a boxed lunch, if you would like to eat during the tour.
